Sloppy Joes - these put Manwich to shame, ground beef cooked in a semi-sweet sauce served on buns (Stovetop, Ready in 30 minutes)
The cost is $145...and there's nothing else you need to provide! The party for this month will be held on Friday, August 20th at 7:00 pm at Dana’s house. (Email dana.nordlander@gmail.com if you need the address.) If you are not able to attend the party, but would like to order the meals, simply add $10 to your total. The RSVP deadline is next Friday, August 6th. So please let us know no later than that if you're planning on attending or ordering. (If you cancel your order anytime after the deadline, you are financially responsible for your meals. We will do our best to sell them, but cannot guarantee anything!) Feel free to make your menu of ten meals using any combination of the choices above. A standard order includes one of every meal listed above. If you would like to substitute any of the meals on the list for additional orders of either of the meals marked with * (Lemon Grilled Salmon or Polynesian Steak), please add $2 per order. If you would like to order more than ten meals, add $12 per meal (or $14 for the Salmon or Steak).
Okay, now for some REALLY exciting news! We are offering some "Back to School" incentives for the month of August (as a big, giant "thank you" to those of you who love our meals as much as we do).....
Incentive #1 - If you refer a NEW person to "It's in the Bag!" for August and they attend the party, you can take $10 off of your order! If you have more than one person to refer, this offer is good for up to THREE new referrals (up to $30 off).
Incentive #2 - Any person who ATTENDS the party this month will have their name entered in a drawing to receive a $25 gift certificate, good towards their next order with "It's in the Bag!" (Disclaimer: One entry per order, if in attendance at the party.)
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to call me on my home number (281) 758-0838 or my cell (281) 732-4689. To RSVP (or decline), simply reply to this email.
***Please let us know of any food allergies you may have when placing your order.***

July '10 Menu
Okay, so if you're anything like me, skipping June was ROUGH on your family dinner time. I'm looking in my empty freezer counting down the days until the July meals are ready. Well, it's time to send out the menu and ask for RSVPs. As always, the RSVP deadline is the FIRST Friday of the month (July 2nd) and the party will be held the THIRD Friday of the month (July 16th).
***Please remember that if you RSVP to order meals, you are responsible for payment. We can always try our best to sell your meals, but ultimately you are responsible. All of the items are purchased with my personal money and I don't get paid back until everyone has paid. (It has nothing to do with me being a pain!)***
Anyways. As I mentioned, the party will be held on Friday, July 16th at 7:00 pm. Please note that I have a new home, so the party will be held at my new home. (Email if you need the address.) My home number has also changed. If you need to reach me for any reason, my home number is (281) 758-0838. We will be providing the meat for all ten meals this month, so the cost for July is $145 (before any "special" orders). The menu is listed below, with a new addition. We have received feedback that it would be nice to know in advance the amount of cooking time (along with the cooking method). By including this, hopefully you will be able to plan your weekly meals a little better (i.e. you don't set out a meal with a 2 hour cook time if you don't get home from work until 7 pm). Read below and please let us know NO LATER than next Friday if you will be ordering or not.
Baked Ravioli - a casserole of cheese-stuffed ravioli in a meat sauce (bake, 1 hour)
(*)Blackjack Steak - steak grilled with a sweet-tangy marinade (grill, 15-20 minutes)
Chicken Parisienne - chicken breasts slow-cooked in a white wine cream sauce *NOTE: CONTAINS MUSHROOMS* (crock pot, 6-8 hours)
Hawaiian Chicken - chicken breasts in a sweet Hawaiian sauce (crock pot, Low 4-5 hours or High 2-3 hours)
Honey Dijon Glazed Ham - ham with a honey-dijon glaze (grill, 15-20 minutes)
Lemon Glazed Chicken - chicken breasts with a semi-sweet lemon glaze (bake, 1 hour)
Oriental Sesame Chicken Strips - chicken strips with a honey-citrus glaze (broil or grill, 10-15 minutes)
Rob's Pork Chops - boneless pork chops in a soy sauce based marinade...named after my hubby 'cause he likes them so much (grill or broil, 10-15 minutes)
Seasoned Tilapia - baked tilapia fillets coated with a semi-spicy seasoning (bake, 15-20 minutes)
Teriyaki Burgers - teriyaki-flavored patties served with grilled pineapple (grill, 10 minutes)
Here's a reminder of any "special" orders we will need to know about when RSVPing....
Ordering Only (not attending the party) - $10
Servings of 2 - add $10
Additional orders of meals marked with (*) - add $2 *NOTE: EACH PERSON"S ORDER COMES WITH ONE OF THE MARKED MEAL*
Payment is due by the Sunday following the party. If you are unable to pick up your meals the weekend that the party is held, please mail payment to the above address.
I've been out of commission on the meal-making for a month, so I'm trying to make sure I've included everything that you might need to know. If I've forgotten anything or you have any questions, don't hesitate to call or email. Thanks and have a blessed afternoon!
